Early Explorers: Measure Up
Bring your youngest scientists to Spark! Imagination and Science Center’s Early Explorers Program. On November 14, from 10 am to 1 pm, Spark will hold another installment of Early Explorers, a program for kids up to age 4 years old and their caregivers.
On Friday, November 14, join us for Early Explorers, Measure Up! Visitors will explore measuring liquids and solids using a variety of measuring tools and a little imagination. Measuring, using tools, and counting are important skills for doing science.
“Doing science looks different at different ages,” says Tiffany Martin, Education Coordinator, of Spark. “In Early Explorers, our yougest visitors will have the opportunity to engage with science at an age appropriate level, learning science process skills such as exploring, making observations, using tools, making predictions and measuring.”

Participation in Early Explorers is included with general admission. General admission is $5 per person, children under 12 months visit for free. No reservation is required, just drop by to explore.
Early Explorers was funded through a grant made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown, with funding from the City of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
