Early Explorers: Simple Machines

Bring your youngest scientists to Spark! Imagination and Science Center’s Early Explorers Program. On January 6, from 10 am to 1 pm, Spark will hold its Early Explorers program for kids up to age 4 years old and their caregivers.

The theme of this installment of Early Explorers is Simple Machines. Through a series of hands-on activities, early learners will explore science concepts while playing with several simple machines, including ramps, pulleys, and levers.

Participation in Early Explorers is included with general admission. General admission is $5 per person, children under 12 months visit for free. No reservation is required, just drop by to explore.

Early Explorers was funded through a grant made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown, with funding from the City of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
