About This Event

Interested in supporting more birds on your property? Then you'll enjoy this two-hour guided tour of a single acre that, over the course of twenty-five years, I’ve converted from treeless lawn to diverse bird habitat.

You'll see an established pocket forest, a newly planted native fruit thicket, different approaches to excluding deer, lots of vertical diversity, beds of native plants all grown from seed, garden spaces that are pivoting from traditional plantings to natives, constructed brush piles, and some areas that still need work with plans for the future.

This will be a guided tour with planned stops and plenty of time for questions.

Pre-registration is required. Cost: $10
