Deborah Kirk, a candidate for the Ph.D. in Geography, Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, will defend her dissertation, "Walking In the Footsteps of My Ancestors: a deep map of Cherokee forced removal," on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., Room 325 Brooks Hall and via Zoom. Committee Co-Chairs: Trevor M. Harris and Maria Alejandra Perez.
Community members who wish to observe the defense via zoom should contact either Dr. Harris or Dr. Perez in the Department of Geology and Geography to arrange remote access.
