Early Explorers: A Magnifying Discovery!
Bring your youngest scientists to Spark! Imagination and Science Center’s Early Explorers, A Magnifying Discovery! Young learners will be introduced to magnification while exploring tools such as binoculars and microscopes.
“Doing science looks different at different ages,” says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark. “In Early Explorers, our youngest visitors will have the opportunity to engage with science at an age-appropriate level, learning science process skills such as exploring, making observations, using tools, making predictions and measuring.”
Participation in Early Explorers is included with general admission. General admission is $5 per person, children under 12 months visit for free. No reservation is required, just drop by to explore.
Early Explorers was funded through a grant made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown, with funding from the City of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
