This Grammy award nominated percussion quartet is “unwaveringly dedicated to contemporary chamber music.” They recently recorded music for their first feature film: The Wild Robot (Dreamworks, 2024) and appeared on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series this past Spring. As the first percussion ensemble to be awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, the Guardian has described the artists from Sandbox Percussion as “virtuosic and utterly mesmerizing.”
